Scouts, start your engines! The annual Pinewood Derby is fast approaching, and excitement is building as families put the finishing touches on their cars. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall at Grace United Methodist Church.

A cherished Scouting tradition, the Pinewood Derby brings together creativity, craftsmanship, and friendly competition. Scouts will race their handcrafted wooden cars down the track, cheering on their den mates and celebrating months of hard work. Awards will be presented for speed, design, and Scout spirit.

Participants are encouraged to arrive early for check-in, weigh-ins, and last-minute adjustments. Spectators—family, friends, and supporters—are warmly invited to attend and help make the event a memorable one.

Whether you're racing, cheering, or volunteering, the Pinewood Derby is a highlight of the Scouting year. Mark your calendars and prepare for an unforgettable morning of fun, fellowship, and fast-paced racing!
